AlHidrox The Process is a new technology for obtaining hydrogen from water by aluminum (or junk), developed and patented in Separation Techniques Group, Department of Chemistry at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The system can produce pure hydrogen without external power supply with 100% efficiency at speeds of more than 2 liters per minute per gram of aluminum. All without CO or CO2 and mild and safe conditions.
got this wet hydrogen at a temperature suitable for direct feed fuel cells, forming an ideal system for remote applications such as electrogenerated or assistants in the absence of conventional power. Can also be used as heating fuel (their production, exothermic heat contributes to the surroundings). In both cases, the absence of noise, fumes and gases is particularly suitable for indoor use without chimneys.
By co-financing of the Generalitat de Catalunya and European FEDER funds, we are testing a prototype demonstration and forming a consortium of companies and R & D centers capable of launching this new technology to market and profit from their exploitation .
