All a future (and current) university need to know about university reform and never dared to confess

(1) ... you are an endangered species?
're part of the last generation that enters the public university as we know it. Who is to blame? The biggest reform of the university's history: the European Convergence (Bologna).
(2) ... are not free from its effects?
informed! This is a simple agreement between States, which does not require that each country and is applying to the differences that decides. They say they want more mobility and recognition titles. Who is opposed? But what about everything else? And what really matters? And what have we ever? In 2010 is intended to be fully implemented. Universities are already adapted.
(3) ... change the length of qualifications?
Grades are a year younger (4 years) than the old bachelor:
- 1 year of general core curriculum
The first academic year is lost to offset what many teachers admit: that every day is taught least in the institutes. Why not fix the problem in school?
- 2 years
contents of your career that you want to say the key to your learning. But sometimes they slip and admit they do not want to pay your "sobreformación" enough for them to learn what you need for your future work. They call it "skills, abilities and skills."
- and up to 1 year Another year
practices that steal content. These exercises may be useful in certain cases. But at what price? Are you the reward you?
- qualifications which by law must remain unreformed
Medicine, Architecture ... So devaluation of education, what would happen to the sick and the buildings? What Reformed racing itself?

have not gone the traditional scholarships, just missing! But the model is changing, do not we head to a system where only consider who can pay? There is a country with elite universities and universities of the masses. Does it want? "Good training for only a few?
(5) ... rates will not stop rising?
The fees go up each year above the average cost of living (CPI). They want you to pay the real cost of college. Who could it be allowed?
(6) ... the new credits (ECTS) involving 40 hours of work per week?
say they want to measure your real time study: before were paying for the classes I took, now pay for home schooling. What will it cost to combine work and studies? "With a European approval as well, who wins?
(7) ... still time to stop Bologna?
Students and teachers we are going to roll. We have years of protests, growing. Are we going to tolerate that demean and the University? Find and compare opinions. Learn about meetings and university closures against Bologna. The are everywhere.
(8) ... YOU YOU PLAY YOUR FUTURE AND THE PUBLIC UNIVERSITY?

Become shorter and more specific, according to the requirements of those seeking skilled labor and pay quickly: who pays, commands. Soon the former names of the races may be replaced by marks or logos: no longer say "I'm going to be a philologist, doctor or engineer," but "I will be a Pfizer, a Microsoft or Endesa" (Fernando Savater, University Professor Complutense, El PaĆs 06, 05, 2008)
Knowledge is priceless. For everything else: Bologna.
